The Happy Demeanor of Pat Poels at Poker Tables

Most poker professionals display an aggressive attitude when facing opponents at poker tables. There are also some poker professionals who display happiness at poker tables but easily get pressured by opponents. Well, Pat Poels has his own attitude when facing opponents at poker tables. He always projects joviality and whenever pressuring situations transpire, he does not react negatively. As a matter of fact, it does not seem like this poker professional gets pressured or stressed when he is at the poker table. It only seems like he is having fun no matter how big the tournament is.

Pat Poels has always been a visible poker professional at World Poker Tour events. The first time that he made a money finish was on August 16, 2003 when he joined a Limit Hold'em game of the World Poker Tour, ending as the fifth placer with US$9,125 as cash prize. On January 31, 2004, he was also seen at the Los Angeles Poker Classic tournament of the World Poker Tour, participating in a No Limit Hold'em game that placed him in the 36th spot, winning US$2,685. On May 10, 2005, this poker professional won US$3,055 as he placed seventh in a Limit Seven Card Stud game featured at the Mirage Poker Showdown of the World Poker Tour. He also finished in third place in a No Limit Hold'em game conducted by the World Poker Tour on October 28 of the same year, winning US$17,952. In the following month of the same year, Pat Poels also joined a Limit Hold'em game that placed him in the tenth spot and earned him US$3,300. In January 2006, Pat Poels almost tasted real victory as he became the runner up in a No Limit Hold'em game at the Goldstrike World Poker Open of the World Poker Tour. His cash prize from the said event was US$26,175. This poker professional made two more money finishes in 2006. He also had a money finish in 2007.

The first time that Pat Poels finished in the money in an event of the World Series of Poker was on May 12, 2004. He joined a No Limit Hold'em game, placed 20th, and won US$5,760. He proved that he could defeat big names in the poker industry by earning his first World Series of Poker bracelet for the first time on June 6, 2005. He defeated his opponents in a Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event, making him win US$27,100. On July 15 of the same year, Pat Poels was also included in the championship game of the No Limit Hold'em event but only placed two hundred fifty third. Nevertheless, his cash prize totaled to US$28,375. Pat Poels continued to prove his talent as a poker professional in 2006 when he won first place at the 37th Annual World Series of Poker. He has had other victories in the World Series of Poker in 2007 other than that. In 2007, he also reached the final table of a S. H. O. E. event of the World Series of Poker.

These are only two of the poker tournaments that Pat Poels has been actively participating in. He can also be seen in such events as the Sport of Kings Tournament and the Californian State Poker Championship.

Well, it does seem like projecting a jovial image is the key factor for the success of Pat Poels in the poker world.
